Bringing Democracy to Parliament
![]() |
(should be) PARLIAMENT IS ^ US Today Parliament is controlled by parties, not each of our representatives. We vote for a person, with a party name on the ballot paper, but that person can change parties later or be removed by the party and we have no say. Today Parliament belongs to the majority party. It does not belong to the people. The United party is not contesting this election and is therefore in an ideal position to assist all non-major parties and Independents to collaborate to develop a stronger third party voice that works toward holding the balance of power in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. The ultimate aim is multi-party government by Parliament where people have a more direct say through elected representatives that answer to the Parliament and to the people. |
We need real people - your choice of real candidates on the ballot paper
NOT THE PARTY PUPPETS
and
Vote for people - they're the only real part of your vote, not the parties.
